Jeff is a geologist with 40 years' experience in the environmental sector, mainly servicing the natural resource industry. Jeff has worked in the CIS countries since 1991, and in the 1990's was responsible for environmental services operations with offices in Moscow and Almaty. Since joining the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 2003, Jeff has been working on large Natural Resource projects in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Mongolia. Jeff has been working on the large Oyu Tolgoi copper porphyry deposit as lead environmental agent for senior lenders since 2010. He has also worked on polymetallic deposits in Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, N Macedonia, Russia, and recently has been involved in a lithium mine in Central Europe.
