Bakyt Torobaev

Bakyt Torobaev plays diverse and influential roles in Kyrgyzstan's political landscape. Serving as Deputy Chairman in the Cabinet of Ministers, his political journey started with leadership positions in various companies. From 1995 to 2007, Torobaev was the General Director of «Zhamilya and Co», «Asia-Suzak», and «Mariyam» Limited Liability Companies. His commitment to public service led him to become Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and subsequently the Minister of Emergency Situations. Torobaev's significant contributions continued as he served as a Member of Parliament, Chairing the «Onuguu-Progress» parliamentary faction. Since 2021 he serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
